Description

The Supply Chain Quality Data Analytics and Insights Leader will lead the development of data collection and insight gathering strategies to best inform continuous improvement efforts across Supply Chain Quality Excellence. He or She will partner closely with stakeholders to ensure efforts and resources are prioritized in accordance with insights from data sets collected across the supply chain. Key areas of focus are risk identification and detection, efficiency improvement, effectiveness/sustainability, and cost improvement. The Data Analytics & Insights Leader will work closely with the Supply Chain Quality leadership in the creation of business cases for strategic projects and in reporting overall value delivered. They will also coach and mentor others in the processes, methods, and tools used in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing and implementing a data analytics strategy for supply chain quality, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing data collection processes.
  • Designing and developing analytics models and tools to analyze and interpret supply chain quality data, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop analytical solutions that address specific supply chain quality challenges.
  • Conducting advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling to identify the root causes of quality issues and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Communicating data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making in supply chain quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of supply chain quality data, including data governance and data quality management processes.
  • Identifying and implementing quality improvement opportunities through data analysis, including process optimization, defect reduction, and supplier performance management.
  • Developing and implementing data-driven quality metrics and dashboards to track and monitor supply chain quality performance.
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging data analytics tools, technologies, and best practices in supply chain quality management.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on data analytics techniques and tools to build analytical capabilities within the supply chain quality team

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical field and 10 years proven experience, or an advanced degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical field and 5 years proven experience
  • Experience with validation or stop shipment processes in the regulated healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives with cross-functional, diverse, global teams using PEx Methodology
  • Experience with developing innovative approaches to Quality challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment
  • Demonstrated experience in effective project management
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • Ability to zoom-in and zoom-out for strategic and tactical activities

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS , ABILITIES , CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS

  • Proficient technical writing skills
  • Certified PEx Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Able to manage complex strategic programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to provide outcome-based/value-driven focus to the organization
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and change management skills
  • Proven success in influencing highly successful teams
  • Capable of building strong partnerships across segments & regions, acting as the mediator between organizations while optimizing the value proposition
  • Strong relationship development, conflict resolution, and team building instincts, with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externally
  • Makes the customer central to all thinking
  • Ability to coach talent on Quality Engineering principles and practices
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills; other language skills advantageous

LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 30-40% travel with regional reach
  • Primary location is at any site in North America, LATAM , APAC or Europe with possibility to perform activities remotely

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 – $166,750.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
