Overview
The Connect Platform team is looking for a Senior Product Management Specialist to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
In this Product focused position, you will:

• Partner with external partners and collaborate intenally with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions by providing product specifications for enhancements
• Define business and technical requirements, and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out the Connect Platform and associated services.
• Manage elements and deliverables associated with projects as they move through the SDLC.
• Gather information to assess MasterCard's competitive positioning within the market
• Manage the tactical execution of delivery team functions, including sprint management/planning collaborating with Leadership regarding priority of initaitives where appropriate.

All About You
Essential responsibilities and education desired:

• Intermediate experience in product management, product development, project management or software development
• Intermediate experience working in an Agile framework (Scrum) executing deliverables through a tools like Jira/Confluence
• Intermediate knowledge of APIs, technical development processes (QA/Security/Release) etc.

The ideal candidate for this position should:

• Look at everything through the eyes of both our Partners and the end-user and clearly advocate for both
• Continually look at the market and competition to see what is happening, how the market is shifting over time and the impact regulation might play in developing a more robust roadmap
• Be collaborative and look for complementary products or services that can also help our Partners
• Identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the organization
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
• Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
