Spare Parts Coordinator

Seeking experienced order processor in the Indianapolis northwest area. The position is part-time to start and will transition to full-time.

Spare Parts Coordinator Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
  • Full Time and Part Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

The principal challenge of this position is to process in a timely manner domestic and international customer requests for spare and replacement parts for all models of capping equipment.  

  • Provide first point of communication for customers
  • Manages interface for customers
  • Enter spare parts orders in Oracle system with 100% order entry process execution
  • Maintains, tracks and follows existing order
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customer personnel
  • Performs spare parts research for location, appropriate part identification, price determination

Spare Parts Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Associate degree or technical education that includes reading drawings/blueprints or minimum 2 years experience in role requiring skill in reading drawings/blueprints
  • Minimum 2 years experience in inside sales of manufactured components with capability to research bills of materials
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with ERP order entry systems, CRM, drawing viewer software and database management software
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
