Sr Director Procurement

Our Global Operations (GO) department is at the forefront of implementing innovative strategies to enhance our offerings and drive excellence. Position Overview: You'll report directly to the Vice President of Procurement for the US and Canada. Leading a dynamic team, you'll oversee the negotiation and contracting of over $2 billion in spend, directly impacting market operations. Your role will be instrumental in coordinating complex cross-functional Request for Proposals and spearheading broad sourcing and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a spend optimization strategy while managing vendor relationships for key sourcing categories and supplier partnerships.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to ensure successful management of sourcing, contracting, and market support activities.
Drive strategic improvements to the operating model through business cases and proof of concepts (POCs), fostering change across managed and franchise disciplines.
Champion Serve360 procurement priorities, including Supplier Diversity and responsible sourcing initiatives.
Collaborate with various disciplines to support sourcing activities and interface with Group Purchase Organizations (GPOs) and suppliers.
Candidate Profile: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field.
10+ years of leadership experience in procurement.
Strong project/program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas effectively.
Ability to travel up to 60%.
Core Work Activities: Strategically source and optimize spend, leading full procurement lifecycle activities.
Manage strategic relationships and enforce contract obligations while ensuring compliance.
Collaborate with counterparts to align strategies and initiatives across continents.
Provide day-to-day leadership for market procurement leaders and support hotel operations.
Partner with brand and discipline leaders to advance procurement strategy.
