The Role

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Go-to-Market Strategies to drive the creation and delivery of unique market positioning and sales enablement for our portfolio of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a lifelong approach to learning, and a collaborative nature that works with multiple resources to identify and develop valuable customer outcomes from highly technical inputs.

The Product Marketing Manager for Go-to-Market Strategies is expected to quickly assimilate and excel in a dynamic environment, mastering the diverse product portfolio across different business units rather than specializing in a single product house. This rapid learning capability is crucial as the candidate will need to swiftly understand various market segments and product offerings, enabling them to devise and implement effective go-to-market strategies. Leveraging this broad knowledge, the candidate will craft compelling messaging, develop strategic sales training, and produce impactful collateral materials. Their adeptness at synthesizing information will ensure that they can influence product roadmaps and optimize customer experiences, aligning with the overarching goals of the organization.

This is a highly visible role across the organization that will require collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Product Development, Marketing Communications (lead-gen campaigns), Corporate Communications, Sales Enablement and Training, Analyst Relations, as well as the Sales Organization.

To meet these requirements, the candidate must first have an expert level understanding of market dynamics and go-to-market strategies. Second, they must be familiar with messaging the value of these solutions to multiple tiers of decision-makers. And finally, they must possess communication channel experience to create and package marketing messages targeting a variety of customer and prospect personas.

The Product Marketing Manager for Go-to-Market Strategies works independently and therefore must be self-motivated. The incumbent will work with a minimum of supervision and is expected to meet and exceed goals.

The Main Responsibilities

+ Designs impactful product marketing strategies to drive profitable revenues.

+ Translates highly technical information into succinct customer outcome messaging to develop value propositions, differentiators, messaging, proof points, and claims.

+ Leads internal and external launch of new products/services, including sales and partner enablement.

+ Owns the go-to-market strategy and associated deliverables for their product launch.

+ Develops and executes sales enablement plans to ensure sales understanding at various technical levels.

+ Creates content for sales enablement and marketing activation that generates qualified leads.

+ Composes and manages the creation of sales training and enablement tools including sell sheets, FAQs, competitive positioning, training and internal awareness communications.

+ Compose content and manage the build of external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations, newsletters, website, blogs and other social media.

+ Partners with marketing teams to drive the messaging in premium content such as infographics, white-board videos, webinars and other lead-gen campaign activities.

What We Look For in a Candidate

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.

+ 3-5 years of work experience in a progressively responsible marketing position

+ Experience in a product marketing, sales enablement, product management or related role in the Technology field/market

+ A deep understanding of security solutions and the competitive space within them.

+ Advanced communication and listening skills to interact with and work with a wide range of people and functions within the marketing disciplines including database, IT, product, channel, advertising and analyst relations.

+ Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics.

+ Knowledge of go-to-market ( GTM ) launch activities through the full lifecycle.

+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

+ A great attitude – willingness to learn new skills, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.

+ Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts. Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies.

+ Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.

+ Comfortable accepting responsibility for medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months from start to finish.

+ Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.

+ The ability to write compelling marketing copy targeting identified business personas is a plus for the candidate seeking this position.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

$94,420 – $125,890in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$99,390 – $132,510in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$104,360 – $139,140in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$109,330 – $145,770in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
