This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.  

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Training Development Specialist at the Davenport Training Center your focus will be supporting dealer sales personnel by developing product and process content to increase their effectiveness in the field. This will be done through many ways, some include: 

 

  • Collaborating with product experts to create sales training content that meets dealer needs and supports new product launches. 
  • Developing and delivering engaging sales training content to enhance the knowledge and skills of dealer sales personnel. 
  • Managing the webinar series (Ask the Expert) by coordinating logistics, scheduling, and creating content for podcasts, webinars, and training materials. 
  • Maintaining and updating content within sales tools to ensure accuracy and relevance for dealers, providing them with the best information available. 
  • Continuously evaluating and improving training programs to align training materials with dealer requirements and various learning styles. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with business goals and objectives. 
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in training and development to drive innovation and improvement in training content and delivery methods.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Experience in planning, delivering, and monitoring the effective delivery of learning and performance solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally and cross-levels
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Experience in training and development as well as involvement in activities such as instruction, assessments, curriculum development, and other related development work

  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Marketing experience 

  • Knowledge of dealer channel and processes 

  • Experience in a position working directly with dealers 

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following :

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communication, or equivalent discipline
