Vice President for Housing and Innovative Economic Programs

Your Role: As the Vice President for Housing and Innovative Economic Programs, you'll be the driving force behind our economic mobility housing operations. Joining our executive leadership team, you'll take the lead in providing strategic direction, management, and oversight for our groundbreaking programs that empower families and transform communities. Primary Responsibilities: Program Planning, Development, and Management: Innovate! Identify, research, design, and implement programs aligned with our mission and community needs.
Stay ahead! Keep an eye on external factors and opportunities to enhance and expand services.
Plan for success! Develop strategic and operational plans ensuring cost-effective operations and long-term stability.
Staff Development and Management: Build the dream team! Identify optimal staffing patterns and foster a culture of growth and development.
Be a mentor! Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff.
Promote teamwork! Ensure effective communication and information flow among staff and programs.
Fiscal Management: Keep it green! Coordinate and monitor programs to meet fiscal targets.
Get creative! Identify revenue opportunities and work with fiscal staff to manage budgets effectively.
Build connections! Serve as a liaison to external funding sources and collaborate with Institutional Advancement.
External Relations: Be the face! Establish communication with external funders and ensure marketing initiatives align with organizational goals.
Be in the know! Actively participate in professional forums and conferences to raise awareness of our programs.
Supervision and Leadership: Lead by example! Supervise and collaborate with AVPs and the director of CFO.
Stay informed! Keep up-to-date with Mobility Mentoring and leverage external relationships for opportunities and innovation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Innovate and evaluate! Implement program redesign and use data systematically to drive strategy.
Be persuasive! Make compelling presentations to various audiences and negotiate competitive terms.
Be a mentor! Demonstrate successful coaching and mentoring skills.
Education & Experience: Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
Five to 7 years' experience managing and innovating multiple programs concurrently.
