Job Description - VP Business Development

We're looking for a dynamic Vice President of Market Sales to spearhead our sales initiatives and foster robust business relationships within the local market. This role is pivotal in executing our strategic sales plans, working closely with our dedicated team to ensure our goals are not only met but exceeded. What You'll Do: Lead with Vision: Implement sales strategies aligned with our overarching goals, drawing inspiration and direction from senior sales leadership.
Collaborate and Drive Growth: Work hand-in-hand with the Area Sales Director to develop and execute local sales plans, identifying new business opportunities to meet and surpass our targets.
Build Strong Relationships: Maintain frequent communication with our sales leadership to share insights on local market achievements and opportunities for growth. Your role is crucial in nurturing our relationship with Independent Distributors, ensuring a prosperous partnership.
Empower Your Team: Coach and mentor the Area Sales Directors, guiding them in cultivating meaningful relationships with distributors and key accounts. You'll provide them with the tools and knowledge to present our products and services professionally.
Analyze and Adapt: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adapt strategies and drive sales success.
Champion Our Culture: Lead by example in upholding our company values, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace. Who You Are: A seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in sales or general management, ideally with prior roles as an Area Sales Director.
A strategic thinker with a bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
