Job Description - Communications Manager, Servicios Globales

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field
- Experience implementing organizational communications strategy, from audience and stakeholder analysis through implementation and success metrics tracking for a diverse global workforce.

DESCRIPTION

As a Communications Manager you will have the opportunity to deliver high quality communication services to the AWS Professional Services Team.

You will enhance our existing communication channels and discover new digital innovations that enable us to make real-time updates, provide topical messages, and link our employees (past, present, and future) to the information they need and want to know.

Key job responsibilities
* You will manage the content strategy for the designated business unit, partnering with cross- functional teams to define key themes, messages, and channels;
* Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies;
* Translate nuanced and complex business topics into communications content and strategies that drives engagement with our AWS employees;
* Collaborate with the Communications Strategy and Standards Office to monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications through digital analytics, surveys, and other key performance indicators;
* Partner with other communications peers from across AWS on unified messaging and initiatives that include multiple organizations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience managing content/editorial calendar and developing long-term communication campaigns
- Experience creating and driving social media campaigns
