Job Description - Inbound Material Coordinator, Project Kuiper - Collaborative Environment

DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Key job responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently receive inbound material for both production and development efforts.
- Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive material.
- Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
- Efficiently move material between sites both physically and virtually.
- Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. A day in the life
A day in the life of a Inbound Material Coordinator includes, but is not limited to, offloading materials from trucks, receiving material against purchase orders, moving material between sites and locations internally, and communicating with internal customers to deliver results.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Redmond, WA, USA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
- 1 year experience using MS Excel to navigate and interpret data
- Able to lift up to 49 pounds
- Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Be comfortable working with high levels of ambiguity
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,880/year in our lowest geographic market up to $72,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
