Job Description:

Corning is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a PR Associate in our New York City office. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is adaptable, confident, and passionate about public relations. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing strategic communication plans to enhance the company's public image and increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies - Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials - Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts - Monitor and report on media coverage and PR metrics - Assist in organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, and other PR activities - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software - A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills - Previous internship or relevant experience is a plus
