101841 - Systems Maintainer

Job Description:

ITEC is looking for a talented Systems Maintainer to join our team. 

Job Responsibilities:

·       Provide application and
system administration support to operational mission systems to include
break/fix actions, scheduling maintenance and documentation.

·       Provide consistent
execution of system availability and reliability through the direction of
proactive maintenance methodologies and request fulfillment activities.

·       Develop and implement
technical solutions through deep analysis and understanding of impact to the
end-product/solution.

·       Enforce adherence to
prescribed incident and problem management or ticket escalation processes to
quickly and proactively resolve system outages as appropriate.

·       Coordinate and collaborate
with teammates, customers, and external stake holders as required to ensure
timely restoration of failed mission applications and associated functions to a
fully operative state.

·       Manage out-of-band call-in
support requests and execute other related supporting duties as required.

·       Provide training for
teammates and customers as directed.

·       Cultivate technical
competency throughout the team as well as customer satisfaction and confidence
through the influencing and encouragement of innovative solution development
that positively impacts program goals and business results.   

Requirements

Required Skills:

·       Current DoD 8570.01m IAT-II
or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE).

·       Experience supporting
systems maintenance operations.

·       Linux command lines.

·       Proven experience and
proficiency with one or more of the following disciplines in an enterprise
environment:  Unix, Linux, and/or Windows based OS and application
management.

·       Troubleshooting of complex
and interconnected systems.

·       Ability to communicate
effectively with internal team members, customers, and external stakeholders
across multiple technical areas.  

·       Must be willing to work a
24x7 rotating shift.
