11+ Mock Test Markers (Remote | Freelance)

OxBridge Centre is looking for highly skilled remote markers to join our 11+ Mock Test Marking Team!

  • Round 1 (Multiple Choice): Saturday 24th May 2025
  • Round 2 (Written): Saturday 31st May 2025
• Set 3
  • Round 1 (Multiple Choice): Saturday 5th July 2025
  • Round 2 (Written): Saturday 12th July 2025

• Follow detailed mark schemes and apply consistent, contextualized feedback across student responses.
• Provide clear annotations and comments using our digital marking platform.
• Participate in team moderation and training - particularly important for Essay Marking.
• Deliver constructive, student-focused feedback that is subject-specific, actionable, and easy to understand.
• Communicate effectively with your marking team and the Marker Lead via designated channels.

• Availability for marking on the weekend of the Mock Test event.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching or exam marking - Key Stage 2 (Year 5-7) preferred.
• Strong grasp of either or both Maths and English at 11+ level, including how to assess and address misconceptions through actionable written feedback.
• Ability to interpret and apply detailed mark schemes consistently.
• Comfortable using digital tools for marking and annotation.
• Access to a modern device.
• Reliable internet connection.

• Experience marking entrance exams (11+ / SATs / GCSEs).
• Familiarity with teaching or tutoring Key Stage 2 English and/or Maths.
• Essay Marking experience in a moderated setting.

• £3.50 per Marked Essay, markers typically mark 5 Essays per hour.
• Additional payment for extended essays marked (beyond 3 pages).
• All other question types at 14p per question, markers typically mark 95 or more questions per hour.
