12 Volt Technician Nationwide Travel (1099 Contractor)

M2 Fleet Communications is looking for experienced 12-Volt Technicians based in Texas who are ready to hit the road for nationwide telematics installation projects. We install GPS systems, dash cams, and other 12V accessories in fleet vehicles across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Travel to client sites around the U.S.
• Install, troubleshoot, and test telematics systems (GPS, dash cams, etc.)
• Document work accurately and submit reports
• Communicate with dispatch and project leads daily

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Mobileye, Samsara, Lytx, Verizon Connect, etc.
• Experience in commercial fleet services

Requirements:

• 12-volt automotive electrical experience
• Your own tools and ability to travel for weeks at a time
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Self-sufficient work ethic — you’ll often work independently
