1532 - Operations Specialist

Sigma Defense is seeking a Operations Specialist with strong knowledge of C5ISR CONOPS, tactics, planning, and conducting Communications operations analysis to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

• 10+ years of relevant operational experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of C5ISR, CONOPS, tactics, and planning and conducting communications operations analysis.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business, or Physical Science.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

• Prepares and administrates the preparation of operations procedures and initiates ongoing updates and changes.
• Understand and apply the fundamentals of C5ISR systems.
• Assists in the operations and maintenance of an organization, branch, plant, or department by performing complex technical work and directing others as assigned in the operation.
• Instructs craft personnel and technical staff in equipment and systems operations, equipment maintenance methods, safe work practices and procedures, and administers apprenticeship programs.
• Analyze the operational effectiveness of C5ISR systems in various scenarios and environments.
• Apply analytical tools and methodologies to assess C5ISR system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Demonstrate proficiency in communicating technical findings and recommendations related to C5ISR systems analysis.
• Identify any gaps in capabilities or resources, determine the required personnel and equipment, suggest suitable tactics or strategies, and estimate potential risks.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
