Position Summary:

Talent Source is seeking a fully proficient Quality Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and auditing of purchased parts, raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products for a major aerospace program. This role requires interpreting manufacturing drawings and specifications, documenting inspection results, and ensuring compliance with company and customer quality standards. Work is onsite in a production environment, including elevated platforms/JLG lifts. This second-shift position offers a 10% differential and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, and assemblies for compliance with specifications

• Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications, and lists to approve or reject items

• Inspect in-process and final assemblies; identify issues and perform rework on defective units

• Conduct sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials

• Document inspection results and deliver detailed reports to supervisors

• Maintain accurate quality and inspection documentation

• Review and report performance data to support quality control programs

• Ensure raw materials, in-process work, and finished goods meet standards

• Determine or assist in determining appropriate inspection methods and procedures

• Communicate with internal teams and external customer/supplier quality representatives

• Identify problems in straightforward situations and follow established processes to resolve them

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience

– OR – Associate degree and 2+ years of related experience

• Fully proficient job knowledge in inspection processes

• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

• Ability to work on elevated platforms or JLG lifts

• Reliability and strong communication skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MES systems 

Schedule & Compensation:

• Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hr + 10% shift differential

• Schedule: Monday – 4/10, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM

• Overtime: 5–10 hours/week, paid at standard OT rate

• Assignment Duration: 12 months

• Start Date: ASAP

• Temp-to-hire potential for strong performers

• Onsite in Palm Bay, FL

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
