Job Description - 1685 - Quality Control Technician
Sigma Defense is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to perform testing and inspection of electronic components and systems. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, supporting daily quality operations through consistent and accurate testing, documentation, and verification activities.
Candidates should bring excellent organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems, and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. The QC Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products meet defined quality standards before release.

1+ years of experience in a quality technician or similar role is preferred.
Experience working with electronic components or systems is required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable working with computers and digital file systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Good documentation and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with electronics or RF systems is preferred.
Familiarity with quality documentation or inspection forms is preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
Perform inspections and functional testing on incoming components, assemblies, and finished products.
Execute repetitive QC procedures with consistency and accuracy.
Record and document test results clearly and accurately using standard QC forms and systems.
Ensure timely and organized filing of all quality documentation.
Identify and report nonconforming materials or products.
Support root cause investigations as needed.
Maintain and operate test equipment, ensuring proper usage and calibration awareness.
Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures precisely.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
