Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled 1st Class Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain boiler and chiller systems used to heat and cool facilities. This role includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections on HVAC, boiler systems, and production machinery. The 1st Class Stationary Engineer will also support facility upkeep through plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and cement repairs to ensure operations remain safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on machinery, fabricating equipment, welding and processing equipment, and material handling systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnose breakdowns
• Dismantle, repair, reassemble, and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Operate drills, grinders, saws, and woodworking tools for basic repairs
• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and lock-out/tag-out procedures safely
• Coordinate vendor repairs, including CNC controls and mechanical integrations
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance Logs and MSR logs per procedures
• Plan work, request materials, and interact with city/state inspectors as needed
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, SDS handling, and company safety procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensing: Prefer Tulsa 1st Class Stationary Engineer license; minimum 3rd Class Boiler Operator License required
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Trade/Technical School (1–2 years) preferred
• Experience: Background in machine maintenance (electrical/mechanical)
• Technical Knowledge: Computer skills (1–2 years), advanced shop math, ability to read specifications, charts, and drawings
• Tools: Proficient with hand/power tools, electrical testing devices, welding and fabrication tools

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
