Job Description - 1st Paint Shop Parts Hanger

HOURS > Monday- Thursday 6am- 4:30pm, plus overtime as needed!

Position Summary: Performing various tasks to aid daily operations at the paint shop. The duties and responsibilities of this position are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work space while also supporting the overall function of the paint shop.

Essential Functions:

Use pallet jack to move pallets of metal parts close to work area

Hang and plug material parts prior to the powder coating process

Ensure that items are prepped and cleaned correctly prior to the coating process

Unplug material pieces after materials have been painted and dried

Keep area clean and organized

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Assist in other areas as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Background working with sheet metal (preferred)

Follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way

Must maintain excellent attendance, and expect to work overtime if needed

Environmental Conditions:

Humidity level may be elevated during summer months

Exposure to loud noise, at times

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Able to stand on your feet for at least ten hours a day
