1st Shift Material Handler - Join a Leading Company

Schedule: 1st Shift, Tues Sat, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Overtime Required
Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Requirements: Valid Driver's License

Description:

• Seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to join a leading biotechnology company in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, such as equipment operation, shipping, receiving, and inventory management, in compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse tasks according to standard procedures, ensuring timely distribution of materials.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards promptly.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
• Proficiency in Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements.
• Good near visual acuity and ability to work with machinery and equipment.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.
