1st Shift Molding Technician

Job Summary:

Sets up and adjusts plastic molding machines for other workers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates hydraulic lift and scissor lift table to move molds into injection molding machines.

• Sets mold into machine using specialized equipment according to written controlled procedures.

• Observes proper Lock-Out Tag-Out as applicable.

• Keep Molding Floor clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, and wiping molding machines regularly.

• Maintains the organization and stocking of the molding cabinets and carts.

• Assist with other molding floor and machine duties as directed by Shift Lead.

Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. FORKLIFT CERITIFCATION REQUIRED.
