Assist Press Operators with daily production activities.
Assist with the operation and monitoring of production equipment.
Load and unload materials and work-in-process according to established procedures.
Inspect, sort, stack, and package finished and partially finished components.
Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions, operating difficulties, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor or group leader.
Follow work instructions, product routing, SOPs, and supervisory direction to maintain efficient production.
Complete required production forms, records, and documentation accurately.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or group leader.
Production & Manufacturing Support
Depending on assignment and training, employees may perform work associated with various manufacturing processes, including:
Draw Press Operations: Set up and operate draw presses, load raw materials, monitor machine cycles, inspect parts, and maintain production flow.
Trim Press Operations: Assist with setup and operation of trim presses while following established safety and operating procedures.
Automated Cell Operations: Load raw material, assist with blanking press setup, monitor automated equipment, troubleshoot basic operational issues, and support material flow.
Finish Washer Operations: Load and unload washers, monitor process conditions, perform product inspections, and maintain required process records.
Annealer Operations: Load and unload annealing equipment, monitor temperature and timing, inspect materials, and document process conditions.
Grinding, Buffing & Finishing: Perform grinding, buffing, and polishing operations to remove imperfections and achieve required product finishes.
Material Handling: Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products using approved material handling equipment and procedures.
Employees will be trained and assigned based on department needs, qualifications, experience, and demonstrated proficiency.
Quality
Inspect products and components for defects, dimensions, cosmetic requirements, and other specifications.
Perform required quality checks according to WIP tags, work instructions, SOPs, and established quality procedures.
Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or process deviations to the group leader, supervisor, or Quality personnel.
Maintain accurate quality and production records.
Take appropriate corrective action as instructed.
Safety & 6S
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and established safe work practices.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 6S standards.
Follow all applicable Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements when performing assigned work.
Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures for safe equipment operation.
Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, spills, or other unsafe conditions promptly.
Production & Delivery
Maintain efficient production flow and support department productivity goals.
Monitor equipment operation, production rates, and downtime as required.
Ensure materials and components are available to support production.
Report deviations from established production standards to the supervisor or group leader.
Work with team members to meet daily production and delivery requirements.
Teamwork & Communication
Work cooperatively with coworkers, group leaders, supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel.
Communicate production, quality, safety, and equipment concerns promptly.
Assist other employees and higher-grade personnel as directed.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn additional equipment, processes, and operations.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, production, pressroom, machine operation, or related experience preferred.
Experience in at least one of the following areas is beneficial:
Pressroom operations
Draw press operation
Trim press operation
Automated manufacturing equipment
Annealing
Finish washer operation
Grinding, buffing, or polishing
Material handling
Metal fabrication or related manufacturing
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and production documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling materials as required.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. You do not need to have experience in every area listed above. Experience in one or more of these manufacturing processes can provide a strong foundation for success in the Pressroom.
