RECEIVING

As a Receiving Clerk, you’ll be an essential part of the supply chain process. Your main role will be to ensure that all incoming shipments are received accurately, documented properly, and communicated clearly across multiple departments—including Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Accounting.

The Role
Join the POLYWOOD® Receiving Department, where you’ll be an essential part of the supply chain process. . This is an active, hands-on position requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments
• Match packing slips and purchase orders, checking for damage or discrepancies
• Accurately enter received materials into inventory systems and label appropriately
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support efficient workflows
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for all incoming goods
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve delivery issues or mismatches
• Assist in regular inventory and cycle counts
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently
• Keep the receiving area clean, orderly, and aligned with safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and proactive employees who take initiative in organizing and supporting daily operations.
• Detail-focused workers who can maintain accurate inventory and manage materials efficiently.
• Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
• Strong computer skills and understanding of Acumatica and Google Systems
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in handling and preparing shipments.
• Forklift Experience (Preferred): Prior experience or certification is a plus but not required.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to a dynamic shipping environment.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Excellent communication skills for working with multiple departments
