Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical / Systems Engineers for an internship opportunity.

This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in El Dorado Hills, California.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Airborne Platform Solutions Business Unit supporting the Intelligent Power Management Systems program.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2024.
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree, preferably mechanical, electrical, systems, industrial, or manufacturing engineering
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during

summer 2024.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Basic understanding of engineering principles and processes related to hardware design and integration

Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Experience with hands on lab integration / assembly or team / club design groups (i.e. Formula/Baja)

The pay ranges for this specific opportunity are as follows:
Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $29.75 - $36.50
