Job Summary

Job Description / Essential Elements:

Provides direct instruction in Special Education. Individualizes the instructional program according to the IEP. Emphasizes academic achievement at all levels.

Requirements / Qualifications

WUSD offers an in-house Induction Program that awards participating teachers $500 upon completion of each year's requirements.

Possession of a valid and appropriate Extensive Support Needs authorization credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is preferred. Candidates in the process of completing their credential program are encouraged to apply and indicate within their supporting documents when they anticipate program completion. This includes candidates enrolled in their university's internship program. Candidates without of state credentials will be considered.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
