2025-2026 Art Teacher

Frontier School of Innovation-Elementary (PreK-3rd Grade) is currently seeking a qualified Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a valid Missouri teacher certificate for the appropriate level is preferred .Starting salary is $58,750 per year, commensurate with experience and education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and submit lesson plans in a timely manner in the platform the school utilizes.


• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.


• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and
  interests of the students.


• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate
  supervisor.


• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with the physical
  limitations of the location provided, and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student
  groups involved.


• Participate in district and campus staff development.


• Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees.


• Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues.


• Maintain a minimum number of grades in the grade book in a timely manner.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Frontier School of Innovation-Elementary is located at 6700 Corporate Dr. and serves approximately 450 students, PreK-3. Frontier Schools is the largest charter school district in the Kansas City area, serving about 1,700 students across the city. Salary will be determined by years of experience and education.
