2025-26 School Nurse

Frontier STEM High School is currently seeking a qualified School Nurse for the 2025-2026 school year. Starting salary is $54,500 per year for RN and $46,500 for LPN, commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.


• Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).


• Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students, including first aid, administering medications, and managing chronic health conditions.


• Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.


• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.


• Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
