This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Iuka, MS. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman\u0027s Aerostructures Operations organization. \n\nEssential Functions: \n\nThe selected candidate will perform the following, including, but not limited to:\n\n * Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.\n\n * Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.\n\n * Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.\n\n * Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.\n\n * Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.\n\n * Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.\n\n * Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.\n\n * Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.\n\n\n\n\nThis requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Manufacturing or Engineer Manufacturing level.\n\nBasic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Manufacturing\n\nA candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\n\n * Be completing or has completed their Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026\n\n * Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar STEM degree\n\n * Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for an Engineer Manufacturing\n\nA candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria.
