This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT.\n\nThe qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman\u2019s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division.\n\nResponsibilities may include:\n\n * Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.\n * Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.\n * Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.\n * Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.\n * Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.\n * Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.\n * Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications \n\nA candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:\n\n * Be completing or has completed their bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution.\n * Be majoring in or having majored in Business Administration, Business Administration Management, Data Analytics, or Business Information Systems\n * Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications \n\n * Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher\n * Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership \u0026 teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).\n\n\n\nSalary Range:\n\n * $52,800- $79,200\n\n\n\ncampusjobs\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
