2026 High School Academic Tutor | Flexible Schedule

Are you passionate about helping high school students reach their academic goals? We're looking for knowledgeable, dependable tutors to provide one -on -one instruction to high school students throughout El Paso in a variety of subjects.

Our students seek support in Math, English, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and AP -level courses. You do not need to tutor every subject. We're looking for tutors with expertise in one or more of these areas. If you're qualified to tutor multiple subjects, that's a plus and may lead to additional tutoring opportunities.

One of the best parts of tutoring with us is the flexibility. You choose the students you'd like to work with and build a schedule that fits your availability. Once matched, we ask tutors to remain committed throughout the student's enrollment because consistency is essential for student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging one -on -one tutoring for high school students.
  
• Tutor in one or more subject areas, including Math, English, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and AP courses.
  
• Assess student strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Help students master course content, complete assignments, prepare for quizzes and exams, and develop effective study skills.
  
• Follow the student's school curriculum when requested.
  
• Submit session reports promptly and communicate student progress with our team.
  
• Provide your own teaching materials when necessary.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation (travel to students' homes is required).
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
  
• Availability between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM on weekdays (weekend availability is a plus but not required).
  
• Strong knowledge in at least one high school subject area.
  
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to each student's learning style.

Preferred Experience

• Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
  
• Experience preparing students for honors, AP, or college -level coursework.
  
• Experience working with students with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, or other learning differences.
