What You\u2019ll Do\n\nAs a Process Engineer, you\u0027ll play a critical role in solving our customers\u2019 biggest challenges by designing and optimizing display and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world, shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry. \n\nProcess Engineers at Applied enjoy a diverse and exciting work experience\u2014no two days are the same and the challenges are complex and interesting. Visit our Engineering Careers page to learn more about engineering at Applied. \n\nRole Responsibilities: \n\n * Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments \n\n\n\n * Perform hardware characterization on a variety of systems \n\n\n\n * Measure film properties, organize data, and interpret data \n\n\n\n * Troubleshoot moderately complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues \n\n\n\n * Generate internal documentation for products, presentations, and technical reports \n\n\n\n * Interact with customers to resolve process engineering issues \n\n\n\n * Identify, select, and work with vendors and suppliers \n\n\n\n * Implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation \n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications: \n\n * Graduating with a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Experience or academics with advanced logic CMOS device with semiconductor process flow understanding\n\n\n\n * Focus on CMOS Power \u2013 Performance - Area improvement including new materials or new CMOS architecture\n\n\n\n * Previous internship or related field experience\n\n\n\n * Demonstrated leadership experience \n\n\n\n * Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions \n\n\n\n * Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information \n\n\n\n * Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus \n\n\n\n * Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture \n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nDoctorate Degree (Required)\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\nUp to 1 Year\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$124,000.00 - $171,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
