Job Title: 2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Reports To: 2nd Shift CNC Supervisor

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating parts, determining the best manufacturing methods, programming, and operating a variety of CNC equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure high-quality production. Requirements

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review and evaluate parts to determine machining requirements.

· Select appropriate tooling and manufacturing methods for optimal production.

· Program CNC 3/4/5 axis machines.

· Operate manual equipment such as saws, lathes, grinders, and sanders.

· Set up tooling and fixturing as needed.

· Design fixtures, jaws, and inspection gauges to support machining operations.

· Run production jobs ranging from single pieces to high-volume batches.

· Inspect basic dimensions at the machine and collaborate with the quality department.

· Maintain a clean machine and organized work area.

· Work overtime as needed.

Education, Training, Skills, and Experience:

· Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology or 1+ years of machining experience.

· Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Surfcam preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T tolerancing.

· Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.

· Experience using hand and power tools.

· Familiarity with common measuring equipment.

· Knowledge of CMM and PC-DMIS PRO is a plus.

· Forklift experience is a plus.

· Understanding of basic safety standards and procedures.
