The Floor Technician takes pride in performing a variety of floor care and housekeeping duties to create a clean and sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors. The Floor Technician uses a variety of cleaning methods and safely operates machinery. Work assignments include trash removal, linen transport, moving furniture and equipment, and following proper cleaning and sanitizing protocols as scheduled. Working conditions are varied and the daily work involves standing and walking for most of the day and using carts and other equipment safely. The Floor Technician is expected to provide exceptional customer service and effective communication skills while completing work assignments and being courteous to residents, staff and visitors.

Schedule: 2nd Shift (1:00pm - 9:30pm)

Starting Wage: $15+/hr based on experience

Requirements

• Dust and mop floors following procedures as assigned.   
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.   
• Clean all assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.   
• Sanitize all surfaces following the ten step cleaning procedure.    
• Maintain all floors as scheduled and assigned.  
• Complete weekly projects as designated by supervisor.
