Job Description - 2nd Shift Cutting Machine Operator

Reports To: Cutting Supervisor
Direct Reports: None
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:00am
Position Overview: Process all spreads though the cutting machine and offload all cut parts in a timely manner
Essential Job Functions:

Be able to run the cutting equipment as outlined on cutting department work instruction
Be able to scan markers into the computer and interpret the marker info
Offload cut parts from conveyor
Ability to perform PM as outlined in the software
Multitasking
Sense of urgency

Non-Essential Job Functions:

Work as a team with your spreader and cut support to provide the required output and quality

Other duties as assigned

Training: Necessary training will be provided on the job.

Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred

Key Competencies: Dependability, teamwork, collaboration, flexibility, initiative, organizational skills, communication, analytical thinking, goal oriented

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of day, walk frequently, and turn as needed

Working Conditions: Plant environment with constant background noise
