Job Description - 2nd Shift Die Cutter Operator (2)

To strengthen our team in Clayton, NC, we are looking for a dedicated skilled Press Operators.

The Die Cutting Operator is responsible for performing make-readies and operating a die cutting press at required production speeds, while controlling quality and waste, meeting safety requirements, and maintaining housekeeping standards.

What You Will Do:

Operate BOBST machinery to expected performance levels.

Perform set-ups, troubleshooting, and making minor machine adjustments.

Follow PFD instructions to fulfill daily production requirements.

Adhere to all plant safety guidelines, policies and procedures.

Help meet or exceed quality and production waste goals.

Keep work area clean throughout shift.

All other duties as assignment by management.

What You’ll Bring:

High School degree or equivalent required

Minimum 2 years of Die Cutting Operator experience.

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience running Bobst Expert cut Die-Cutter Press preferred.

Compute rate, ratio, percent, and proportions.

Prioritize tasks.

Detail and deadline oriented

Basic mechanical skills (i.e. hand tools)

Excellent communication skills including verbal and written

Basic computer skills

Basic knowledge of metric system

Problem solving skills .
