2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

General Mechanic

Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is currently seeking a Second Shift Mechanic to join our team.  PLEASE NOTE: The work schedule will be "alphabet" consisting of 12-hour work shifts varying days throughout the week. Responsible for proper maintenance of production equipment that include repairs, overhauling and daily maintenance.   

Responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance of production line equipment.


• Overhaul, repair, and maintain pumps, gear boxes, conveyors and electrical motors.


• Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.


• Maintain repair logs.


• Maintain proper housekeeping.


• Other duties as assigned.     

Qualifications:

• Ability to weld.


• Capable of making quick decisions.


• Good communication skills.


• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Wage range based on skills, abilites and experience from $25-$35.50/hour
