2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Responsible for safely executing the production goals set by the plant manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the workforce to achieve safety, quality and efficiency goals,
• Operate within budgeted parameters,
• Works with plant manager to perform employee training, education, meetings, appraisals,
• Assists plant manager to develop documented procedures and ensure compliance,
• Ensures all efficiency and productivity goals are met,
• Ensures production schedules are met on time and within budget
• All other work assigned. 

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

• Schedules equipment and personnel so as to maximize productivity,
• Prompt communication with plant manager of manufacturing scheduling concerns.

• Experience in manufacturing preferably in automotive industry;
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Good organization skills;
• Self-motivated, ability to work in a deadline driven environment;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Detail oriented;
