Job Description - 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector- Unlicensed

The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control and Projects, the ideal individual should be quality-oriented with attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations. This is a full-time position, 2nd shift, based in Medley, Florida. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies.
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulatory standards.
  • Verify documentation including repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork.
  • Accurately record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed 
  • Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment.
  • Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies.

 Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years Quality Control Inspector experience.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) .
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Quantum Software. 
  • Previous experience with aviation components, wheels and brakes a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
