Shift Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:15pm - 10:45pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and organize daily dock assignments
• Conduct regular hourly checks of the dock area
• Read and interpret a variety of stage plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or Work Instructions (WIs)
• Engage in physical activities to sort and move products effectively
• Operate material handling equipment, such as RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and pallet jacks
• Re-box and label materials, conduct weight counts for sales orders, and transfer materials to staging areas
• Perform various duties, including organizing excess items from picking
• Enter data accurately, including completing daily production sheets and other necessary transactions
• Mark and tag containers with appropriate identifying information
• Assemble product containers as required
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged ones as needed
• Install protective devices, like bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage during transportation
• Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development
• Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture
• Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment
• Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)

• Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 1 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
• Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment
• Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Possesses effective verbal communication skills
