Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Overtime: Saturday overtime may be available based on production needs

We are seeking experienced and dependable 2nd Shift Truss Assemblers to join a fast-paced building materials manufacturing operation in Kings Mountain, NC.
This is a hands-on production position focused on the assembly and construction of wood trusses. Candidates must have at least one year of previous truss-building experience and be comfortable using a tape measure, hammer, hand tools, and production equipment.
The position involves physically demanding work and is performed in a production environment that may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and changing temperatures.
Build and assemble wood trusses according to production specifications and measurements
Position and align lumber and truss components correctly before assembly
Accurately read and use a measuring tape throughout the assembly process
Use a hammer and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Fasten and secure truss components according to production requirements
Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, work orders, and assembly instructions
Inspect lumber and components for defects, damage, or incorrect measurements
Check completed trusses for proper dimensions, alignment, and overall quality
Move, position, and handle lumber and assembled components throughout the work area
Meet established production and quality expectations
Keep the work area clean and free of safety hazards
Follow all workplace safety procedures and equipment guidelines
Communicate production, material, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience building or assembling wood trusses
Must have experience reading and accurately using a measuring tape
Must have experience using a hammer in a construction, truss, framing, or production environment
Previous experience working with lumber, framing, construction, or building materials is strongly preferred
Ability to understand basic measurements and follow production specifications
Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the scheduled shift
Strong attention to quality, measurements, and proper assembly
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
Must be able to lift, carry, position, and handle lumber and building materials
Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and changing temperatures
Steel-toe boots or steel-toe shoes are required
Must follow all required PPE and workplace safety standards
