3000 - Engineer II

Job Description:

• Reviews technical data packages for adherence to engineering standards.


• Reviews engineering and technical referrals in accordance with established processes.


• Assists with the design and implementation of quality control and assurance systems.


• Reviews, validates, and develops technical data, manuals, and provisioning packages.


• Reviews performance data and developed RBS models.


• Assists with moderately complex engineering tasks under general supervision.


• Exercises a degree of creativity and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development and execution of RBS models using OPUS Suite tools.


• Analyze provisioning, configuration, and operational data.


• Assist with reliability block diagram (RBD) development and model validation.


• Contribute to technical reports, model results, and customer deliverables.


• Support senior engineers in meeting contract and task order objectives.

Qualifications:

• Citizenship:S. citizenship required.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Experience:

• Desired: 4–7 years in a related engineering role.


• At least 2 years of modeling experience using OPUS Suite or similar tools.

• Skills: Data analysis, engineering fundamentals, technical writing, and collaboration.

Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience:

• OPUS Suite or similar modeling/simulation software.


• Exposure to RBS modeling, logistics analysis, or sustainment engineering preferred.


• Familiarity with Navy or DoD technical data systems is a plus.
