3000 - Senior Engineer

Job Description:

• Reviews technical data packages for compliance with engineering standards.


• Reviews engineering and technical referrals in accordance with established processes.


• Assists with the design and implementation of quality control and quality assurance systems.


• Reviews, validates, and develops technical data, manuals, and provisioning packages.


• Reviews performance data and developed Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) models.


• Performs complex engineering and analytical tasks.


• May lead and direct the work of junior engineers, exercising sound technical judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and validate RBS models using OPUS Suite and SIMLOX.


• Analyze system reliability, provisioning data, and operational availability metrics.


• Support NAVSEALOGCEN modeling, simulation, and sustainment analysis activities.


• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to Government stakeholders.


• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and completeness standards.

Qualifications:

• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Experience:


• Required: 2+ years of modeling experience using OPUS Suite software.


• Desired: 7+ years in a related engineering role.

• Skills: Engineering analysis, modeling and simulation, technical documentation, and mentoring.

Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience:

• OPUS Suite and SIMLOX (required).


• Experience with RBS modeling, provisioning analysis, and reliability engineering concepts.


• Familiarity with Navy logistics data sources and sustainment processes.
