340b Program Specialist

Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full time 340b Program Specialist. The 340b Program Specialist acts as the compliance expert and liaison for the 340b Drug Pricing Program, ensuring program integrity and regulatory adherence. The 340b Program Specialist must be available to travel to any MCHP locations, based on clinic need. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as internal/external expert on 340b matters. 


• Conduct monthly audits or pharmacy claims and address discrepancies. 


• Educate on non-eligible claims and manage referral claims. 


• Maintain relationships with internal departments and external vendors. 


• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance. 


• Lead the 340b oversight committee. 


• Manage ESP data reporting and drug manufacturer restrictions. 


• Develop educational materials for patients and staff. 


• Oversee drug sample inventory and rep visits. 


• Conduct medication room audits. 

Qualifications:

• Education: NC Certified Pharmacy Technician and/or PTCB required. BLS certification required. Apexus 340b Certified Expert (within 6 months of hire). 


• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in 340b. Healthcare and pharmacy workflow experience preferred. 


• Ability to travel to multiple sites as required. Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
