This is a full-time position (not temp). We are seeking a 3rd Shift CDL Truck Driver to be responsible for transporting different types of goods from distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. The starting pay for this position is $26/hour.

What You'll Do:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• At least 20/40 vision with glasses or corrective lenses is required for a truck driving career.
• Must have a vision of 70-degree field in each eye and good hearing ability to work as a truck driver.
• Must be able to pass the physical required by regulations.
• Be able to stand for at least an eight to twelve (8-12) hour period.
• Be able to lift, carry, handle and grasp at least 35 - 50 lbs (Constantly)
• Be able to push and pull a wheeled pallet jack or rack to move items weighing up to 400 lbs.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist up to 50 lbs (Occasionally)
• Drop & Hook operation, movement of Refrigerated Trailers between production & Storage facilities here in Sanford, Fla and Daytona, Fla, also fueling these trailers when needed. (On-Site Fuel)
• Experienced in the operation of Refrigeration Units (Carrier & Thermo-King)
• No Touch Freight.

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2-year driving experience required.
• Commercial Drivers License (Current)
• Clean driving record.
• Current DOT Physical.
• Yearly DOT drug screen.
• Able to lift product in cases as needed (max 50lbs)
• Able and knowledgeable regarding fueling of trucks and trailers
