3Rd Shift Refrigeration Technician

Description

•        Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems
•        Day to day maintenance repair to equipment
•        Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
•        Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local

•        Etc.  

•        Other duties as assigned  

•        Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
•        Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry

• Basic computer skills necessary
• PLC knowledge preferred
• Physical demands: Climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools
• Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
• Position requires a background check and drug test
• Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties
