Role

We foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and career growth. Furlani Foods is seeking a 3rd Shift, South Plant Security Officer to ensure plant and employee safety, by patrolling and validating the interior and exteriors of the plant are safe and secured.

 Key Responsibilities:

· Take accurate shift notes of unusual occurrences and observation of patrols

· Assist in accident investigations and other safety related tasks

· Monitor and maintain access card system; issue, deactivate and replace access cards

· Monitor and maintain locker rooms, lockers, and padlocks

· Assist Safety Trainer in Safety Training for new hires and continuous safety training for existing employees 

Qualifications

· Ability to operate a motor vehicle and a clean driving record

· At least two years of experience as a security officer or relevant position in an industrial setting.

· Ability to work indoor and outdoors, with various weather conditions

· Surveillance skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
