4246 - Radiology Technologist

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the guidance of qualified Physicians for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. In this role, you will conduct procedures following department protocols and adhere to established radiation safety guidelines. You will provide direct patient care to individuals of all ages, ensuring excellent service by treating each patient with respect and courtesy and clearly explaining the examination process. You will collaborate with the team to maintain a positive work environment and prioritize the safety of patients, colleagues, and yourself.


Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following department protocols.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines.
• Provide exceptional patient care, explaining procedures thoroughly and treating each patient with respect and courtesy.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and safe work environment.
• Follow all departmental policies and procedures.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 1 year working in a hospital Radiology department.
• Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Certified Radiography (R)(ARRT).
• Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
• Perform job responsibilities in alignment with the organization’s core values, mission, and vision.
• Maintain current knowledge through self-education and participation in educational programs.
• Attend staff meetings, mandatory in-services, and meet competency evaluations promptly.
• Demonstrate competency in caring for patients of all ages, considering individual needs based on age, sex, and weight.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as required.

Compensation:

• Salary: $24-$34 per hour, based on experience.
• Shift Differentials:
  • Evening Shift: Additional $2/hour
  • Night Shift: Additional $2.50/hour
  • Weekend Shift: Additional $2/hour
• Schedule: Day Shift - Monday to Friday
