4441b - Trauma Program Manager Registered Nurse

Our client is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to promote optimal care within the organization. Reporting to the Associate Administrator, the Trauma Program Manager will demonstrate professional competency in the nursing process by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically injured patients. This position involves clinical practice, maintenance of the trauma registry and Quality Improvement reports, educational programs for trauma care personnel, and monitoring patient progress during hospitalization. The Trauma Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of trauma services, while actively participating in staffing, budgeting, planning, leadership, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight in trauma patient care.
• Maintain trauma registry and Quality Improvement reports.
• Develop and implement educational programs for trauma care personnel.
• Monitor trauma patients' progress during hospitalization.
• Manage the daily operations of trauma services, including staffing, budgeting, and planning.
• Contribute to leadership and quality improvement efforts within the trauma department.

Must Haves:

• Education: BSN preferred.
• Experience: Three to five years of Emergency or Critical Care experience
• Trauma Program Manager experience required
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current California RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • ENPC certification (required within 6 months of hire).
  • TNCC certification (Instructor preferred, required within 6 months of hire).

• Prolonged sitting and physical demands, including lifting and pushing up to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and mobility required for fast-paced situations.
• Regular exposure to contagious diseases, unpleasant elements, and emergency/crisis situations.
• Irregular hours and pressure from multiple inquiries and calls.
• Occasional exposure to radiation hazards, biohazards, and radioactive substances.

Location: Modesto, California

Salary Range: $128,960 - $205,920
