4602 - Nurse Manager Acute Care

Our client is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a 40-bed Medical Acute Care Unit.
This leadership role is ideal for an experienced RN with proven management skills and a background in acute care. The Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinical operations, guide a team of approximately 100 healthcare professionals, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a weekday, daytime role with minimal weekend requirements and no call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate clinical and administrative functions for a 40-bed medical acute unit

• Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of approximately 100 staff members

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, departmental protocols, and patient care standards

• Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives

• Maintain current knowledge in the field through self-education and ongoing professional development

• Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory training, in-services, and competency evaluations on time

• Demonstrate clinical competency across patient populations based on age, gender, and condition

• Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with organizational mission, vision, and values

Must Have's:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited program (Required)

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Georgia license (Required)

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)

• At least 2 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting in the relevant specialty

• Demonstrated leadership and management skills

Nice to Have's:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field

• Experience leading large teams in a hospital environment

• Familiarity with quality metrics, staffing models, and clinical operations

Location: Albany, Georgia

Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 annually, based on experience

• 5% bonus eligibility
