Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Iowa State Fair 4-H Assistants will support the 4-H Livestock and Horticulture Superintendent/4-H Animal Science Specialist with project and exhibitor check-in, show and event management, result tracking and reporting, volunteer coordination and support, award management and distribution, and general office and administrative operations. Staff will assist exhibitors, volunteers, judges, and guests; help maintain accurate records and event materials; and contribute to the efficient, professional, and successful operation of all Iowa State Fair 4-H livestock and horticulture activities.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read, write and follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the Fair Entry Database system

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
